Instagram, being an ideal platform to share stories through images also made way to share more juicy stories by allowing you to upload videos as well. Another sure way to attract Instagram followers. While photos can tell a thousand words, videos can share a thousand photos. Combine photo uploading and video sharing in your posting strategy. Videos are enjoyable, engaging, and shareable, and Instagram made videos easy to be created. At first, when instagram initially launched their video feature, it wasn’t easy to upload videos. Few minutes of videos are limited to users. Now they have more options. Here are the three methods to share videos on Instagram:

a. Use the app directly to record video and post instantly

It’s easy to record and post videos to Instagram. Length of videos may be between three and fifteen seconds. They can record directly through the app by holding the Record button, pressing Pause, when a different scene needs to be captured, and then post it right away! Pre-made videos may also be uploaded.

Here are the detailed instructions:

  • On the app, tap the camera icon at the bottom.
  • Tap the video icon of “Video”
  • Hold down the red circle to record the video
  • If you’re using an iPhone, tan Next, or if you’re using Android tap the arrow

b. Use your mobile device to pre-record video and post it later

You also have an option to post pre-recorded videos on your Smartphone. Same editing and filter options are available as the one made from scratch.

  1. Make a video using Boomerang

Instagram launched the Boomerang video app on October 2015. It lets users make short videos. Visual only as it doesn’t capture any sound. Since this is a separate app from Instagram, it has to be downloaded first from the Instagram app.
